Greenlands

This is an investigation of green areas or spaces of southern Tokyo (Kanagawa Prefecture) to reveal the dialogue and relationship it has to the surrounding city.

In the series of images I strive to explore the way in how these spaces are used and how it communicates to us the discourse between the city and green spaces.

How these spaces are used, signals to us the relationship between the urban and non-urban but also invites us into a discussion between the image as object and the sociological concerns that the observer views within the frame of their own experience.
